Oakridge is a small VERY hidden town in the Oregon Cascades. The valley that it sits in is only about 5 miles long and 1.7 wide. There is a large former major lumber mill on the east end that takes up a third of the valley. The area around Oakridge is dense forest with many small and large lakes. It is also home
to some of the best hunting and fishing in the northwest.
