Staring in around 23PA the members of the Oakscouts were looking for a new long range weapon. With stocks of pre-cataclism weapons running low the techs at the newly formed Oakguard Weapons Lab started work on a project to design a weapon that could preform the tasks needed. After several months of work what they found was that by scaling up the systems of the M-20 they could create a weapon that exceded the needs of the scouts.
